Use Help to obtain detailed information on using ResCartaWeb, including browsing, searching, and viewing search results.
To find help on using ResCartaWeb:
ResCartaWeb Help opens in a new web browser window. The Help window contains an informational display on the right side of the window, and four organizational tabs on the left side of the window (Contents, Index, Search, and Glossary).
Use the organizational tabs to find the information you need. Click:
Contents to search a list of topics (like a table of contents in a book).
Index to search a list of pre-selected keywords (like an index in a book).
Search to search a list of the full text of the information in Help (not just the pre-selected keywords in the index, but all of the text included in the Help system).
Glossary to view definitions of ResCartaWeb terms.
Use the browse buttons (where available) that appear in the upper right corner of the Help topic to view topic sequences (ordered arrangements of related topics). Click:
to move to the previous topic in the browse sequence.
Note: You can use this button repeatedly until you reach the first topic in the sequence.
to move to the next topic in the browse sequence.
Note: You can use this button repeatedly until you reach the last topic in the sequence.
Use your web browser's buttons to review topics you examined earlier in your Help session, and to print topics.
When you're finished using Help, close its browser window.
